1. Description
The fixture is actually a laminated print of a form screwed into a stainless-steel frame. This simple equipment serves as the weight-bearing part during the cutting of shaped surfaces using a water jet, especially for car carpets.
2. Project Procedure
First a print of the borrowed form is made, the print is laminated from the bot-tom with try squares, onto which a weight-bearing frame with fenders is screwed. In the curvatures, where there is the risk of damaging the carpets with the water jets, strong stainless-steel sheet metal is welded on as protec-tion. The whole frame including the weld joints are stuck with putty, so that the equipment is waterproof and it is possible to suck water/air from below.
